2013 Winter Meeting at Dollar Lake
Dates: February 1, 2, 3, 2013
Location: Chanticleer Inn, Hwy 70 East of Eagle River, WI
Friday:
- Room Check-in
- Race Set-up on Dollar Lake
- Sled display
- Friday night fish fry at Chanticleer- on your own
- Tentative trip to track and museum in Eagle River
- Cracker Barrel reception back at Chanticleer Inn
Saturday:
- Breakfast at Chanticleer Inn - must guarantee 25 people
- Saturday morning membership meeting
- Race registration - racing begins at 1:00 pm
Oval racing, Hill Climb, Cross country, Obstacle course
1967 and 1968 models will run in their own class
As usual, races will be run by ASCOA, with timers and hanicapping formulas
- Rotary Club will be serving concessions
- Parking on the Lake - warming tent, and trailer for ASCOA clothing and
collectibles
- Banquet at Chanticleer Inn Saturday night - serving Prime Rib
- Cocktails 6:00 pm, Dinner 7:00 pm
- Guest speakers, awards for race winners, ASCOA awards
Sunday:
- Check out - breakfast on your own
Registration forms will be in an upcoming newsletter. You are responsible for your own room reservations. You can go on-line at Chanticleerinn.com. or call (715) 479-4486. If you have questions, contact Jim or Terry Johnson at (608)296-2085. Chanticleer has villas,
suites and motel rooms available.
We have stayed in all three types of accomodations this past season, and found them to be newly remodeled and very comfortable. To save money, group up with family or friends.
