DETAILS: The local Pequot Lakes Bush Pilots Snowmobile Club is sponsoring the event and paying for trophies.
Thursday night is shop night at Dave Guenther's home & shop. There will be a pheasant/fish fry, refreshments, tools, and lots of advice for anyone needing to do some last minute repairs. There will be some type of candle or jewelry party in the house for the ladies.
Friday has the trail ride at 1:00, and entertainment at the Legion Friday night.
Saturday is the show, trail ride, and races. Races will be open to 1966 and older machines only! Thjis is because the area is too small for high powered snowmobiles.

Bob Krawchuk, Winnipeg, Manitoba, CA, grandson of Mike Bosak will be our guest
speaker at the 2014 Antique SNowmobile Club of America winter meeting in Pequot
Lakes, MN on Jan 17,18,19 2014. He will be giving a historic review and
presentation on the Bosak Snowmobiles here during our banquet Saturday evening
at the American Legion, Bob will also bring a vast collection of related items
plus two Bosaks, plus a 1/4 scale model, plus he plans to ride with us on our
trail ride Friday and visit with people through out the weekend...

WIN A RESTORED 1966 ARCTIC CAT !!!
Pequot Brush Pilots President Craig Baker and Treasurer Larry Rasmussen stand next to the 1966 Arctic Cat 140 D project sled from Tony and Rudy Rolfes (www.rufusranch.com) which will be restored by members of the Brush Pilots for the 2014 ASCOA meet in Pequot Lakes in Jan 2014. All paid up ASCOA members that attend this show will have their name put into a drawing for a chance to take this machine home with them.

2014 Antique Snowmobile Club of America/Pequot Lakes Antique Snowmobile Rendezvous
The Pequot Brush Pilots would like to welcome new and old sled enthusiasts to the 20th Annual Antique Snowmobile Rendezvous in Pequot Lakes MN on Jan 17 through the 19th 2014. This event will run in conjunction with the Antique Snowmobile Club of America Winter
Convention and Rally which is held in different locations in the snow belt annually.
Traditionally this has been an event that the entire city of Pequot Lakes has been very supportive of.
Friendly people, Trail rides, Swap meet, antique and vintage show, Antique
(1966 and older) sleds line up to race in a series of Lemans, oval, reverse oval ( for machines that have reverse) drag races and obstacle course races and always a helping hand to get that old iron running!
In addition we have vintage snowmobile style show for people to show off their
old snowmobile suits, which is always a popular event before the awards
banquet,
Our Guest speakers over the years have included the late Journalist C.J Ramstad,
Polaris co-founder and Arctic Cat founder Edgar Hetteen, Explorer to the North Pole Ralph Plaisted, others that are still with us on the snow, Walt Pedersen from the
Plaisted Expedition, Elmer Cone , founder of the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame, Richard Harrison, cofounder of the Scorpion Trail-a-Sled company, Lee Busse and Scott Eielertson from the" Minnesota to Moscow "trip and co founder of Polaris David Johnson to name a few.
This years guest speaker will be Bob Krawchuk from Winnipeg Canada, a historian on the Bosak Power Toboggan which his grandfather Mike Bosak created. He will be sharing information, literature and will be bringing some of his Bosak machines to drive and
display. Many enthusiasts that have a Bosak machine will be joining us for the
weekend from as far as Ohio and Quebec.

1:00 Trailride for new and old snowmobiles, parade past Pequot High School then on to the trails with stops for visiting and campfire cookouts.
